Saturday I'll leave. - Maybe.
Not bad, about 2.000km in Piotr's old Volvo in 4 days. From Vienna over Brno (Czech Republik) via Cesky Tesin (border) to Krakow where we spent our first evening. Next day north via Warsaw to a place called Kraina Westernu Sarnowa Gora, 70km north west from Warsaw.
There we met many of Piotr's friends Kasia, Andrzej, Ryszard, Wojciech, Keith, Tomasz, Beata, Marta, Maciej and many others. Kraina Westernu is a Western Town and Western Horse Riding project by Andrzej and Wojciech which is beeing built on some 20 hectares of former farmland. It is probably going to open in spring 2005 but already a lot of work has been done and the results do look impressive with regards to style and atmosphere.
Of course Piotr and I had our horse riding lesson from Beata whereas Wojciech took care that we always had enough Vodka in our glasses.
After two days we left heading south via Warsaw to Kazimierz Dolny an old trade town on the Wisla river. Next stop Sandomierz and then further to the holiday resort of Zakopagne in the Tatra mountains. Back to Vienna via Slovakia.
